Using a multi-coloured Wool to create your baby’s first beanie. The perfect gift for a new born as it will fit up to 12 months and is an easy project for a beginner.
- 50g of multi-coloured wool (we like pastel colours for a new born)
- 4mm (US 6) short circular needle
- 20 sts and 28 rows to 10cm/4in square over stocking stitch using 4mm (US 8) circular needle.
- dec = decrease; k = knit; st(s) stitches; tog = together.
With your circular needle, cast on 70 sts. Taking care not to twist the cast on edge, join to work in rounds, and place a marker to denote end of the round. Slipping the marker on every round, k 28 rounds.
