GO! LeMoyne Star Prism Quilt

Additional Fabrics Needed

  • Binding—3/4 yard – Cut 7–2½” x WOF strips using GO! Strip Cutter-2½” (2” Finished) (55014 or 55017)
  • Backing—3¾ yards
  • Batting—67” x 67”

Sewing Directions:

  1. Lay out one white diamond (Shape C), one green triangle (Shape A) and one green triangle (Shape B) as shown.

  2. Sew pieces together, following directions listed at right, pressing towards dark.

  3. Lay out one green diamond (Shape C), one white triangle (Shape A) and one white triangle (Shape B) as shown.

  4. Sew pieces together, pressing towards dark.

  5. Sew Unit #1 and Unit #2 together along the long edge to create Unit #1. Press seams open. Block should measure 5” x 5”.

  6. Repeat to make four Unit #1 Blocks.

  7. Lay out four Unit #1 Blocks as shown in Unit #2. Sewing into rows and then sewing rows together pressing seams open.

  8. Block #1 should measure 9½” x 9½”.

  9. Repeat above steps to make a total of five Block #1, four Block #2, eight Block #3 and eight Block #4.

  10. Lay out five Block #1, four Block #2, eight Block #3, eight Block #4, 60–Sashing Strips and 36–Cornerstones as shown on page 3.

  11. Pin and sew into rows, pressing seams in opposite directions.

  12. Pin and sew rows together. Press seams in the same direction.

Quilting & Finishing:

  1. Layer quilt top with batting and backing.

  2. Pin or baste layers together.

  3. Model was custom machine quilted.

  4. Attach binding, mitering the corners.
