How to Hot Foil a Stamp onto a Card - Special Mum

Why not start by creating something special for your mum with this easy-to-follow ‘Special Mum’ card project?! It’s simple and fun to make, and it’s sure to raise a smile!

You Will Need:

  • Go Press and Foil Machine - Version 2
  • Tall Card – Red Cardstock (8½” x 4¼”)
  • “To a Special Mum” Hot Foil Stamp
  • Vintage Matte Gold Foil
  • Gatsby 12” x 12” Paper Pad (1 Patterned paper & 1 Postcard die-cut)
  • Camden Cottage Roses
  • Cream Cardstock
  • Grey Cardstock
  • Nesting Die
  • Crystal Bling
  • Red Ribbon (Tied into a bow)

Instructions:

  1. Using the Classic Sentiments “To a Special Mum” hot foil stamp, Vintage matte gold foil and the cream cardstock, hot foil the sentiment onto the cream cardstock using the Go Press and Foil Machine Version 2. Cut out the sentiment using a nesting die. Ink, decorate with bling and set aside.

  3. Cut out a piece of the patterned paper 4” x 8¼”. Ink and tape to the card.

  5. Cut a piece of grey cardstock 3½” x 5”. Ink and tape about 1cm up from the bottom of the card.

  7. Choose one of the postcard die-cuts. Trim to 3¼ x 4?”. Ink and layer onto the grey cardstock.

  9. 3D tape the sentiment about 1cm from the top of the card. Glue on the bow.
